Waylon Flooring® warrants that your Waylon Flooring® Building Products Laminate Flooring panels will be free from manufacturing defects and, for the applicable warranty period*, under normal household condition**, will not fade under artificial light or sunlight, stain or show wear through the image layer and will resist water damage.

* The applicable warranty period for residential application is 25 years.
** The applicable warranty period for commercial application is 10 years.
*** Normal household conditions means those daily activities commonly associated with residual use.

LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS AND CONDITIONS

* The Limited Warranties apply only to the original purchaser and the original installation site, and are not transferable.
* The Limited Warranties do not cover conditions or defects caused by improper installation, the use of improper adhesives, inadequate sub-flooring or improper sub-floor preparation.
* The Limited Warranty that Waylon Flooring’s Laminate Flooring panels will resist water damage is subject to the following:
* The Limited Warranty covers only topical moisture resulting from normal household use, such as wet shoes, liquid spills or dripping while exiting the bath, tub or shower, provided such topical moisture is promptly removed.
* The Limited Warranty excludes damage caused by flooding, running water or standing liquids.
* The Limited Warranty does not apply to panels installed in wet areas.
* The Limited Warranties does not cover construction related damage.
* The Limited Warranties does not cover damage caused by pet urine.
* The Limited Warranties do not cover panels that have been installed with obvious visual defects.
* The Limited Warranties do not cover conditions caused by improper use or maintenance, such as:
* Loss of floss or build-up of dulling film due to lack of maintenance or improper maintenance.
* Damage resulting from failure to follow floor care instructions.
* Damage caused by scuffs, scratches, cuts, impact, caster wheels or vacuum cleaner beater bars.
* Damage caused by chemicals, burns, fires and other accidents.
* Damage caused by abuse (i.e. dragging heavy or sharp objects across the floor without proper protection.)
* The Limited Warranties does not cover variations of color, shade or texture of the panels you purchase from those shown on sample or photographs.
* The guarantee is for replacement or refund of the laminate material only, no labor.
* The guarantee does not cover chipping (Laminate will chip if sharp object are dropped on it) warping (laminate will warp if excessive moisture gets into the boards) or bridging (which is caused by insufficient expansion spacing) we will not consider any claims for these problems.
* Claims for wear must show a minimum dime size area. This guarantee is pro-rated based on the amount of time the floor has been installed.

IMPORTANT

• Your laminate flooring must be allowed to acclimate to the environment of the installation area. Leave the closed packages in a horizontal position in the room for 48 hours prior to installation. Preferable temperature should be approx. 17-23 ° C (62- 73 °F) with a relative humidity of 45-60 percent. Panels must be checked for defects under suitable lighting conditions.
• Do not install laminate panels in bathrooms, shower rooms, or other rooms exposed to excessive moisture.
• It is recommended that a moisture barrier be placed over all concrete floors, even if no moisture emissions are apparent.
